Terms of Service

These terms apply to all services provided by Studio Slowmo and our representatives unless explicitly stated in writing otherwise. Please check these terms carefully before any arranged services with us.

These Conditions apply to each order you, as our customer, place with us (Teleprompter Apps Ltd, trading as "Studio Slowmo". (Company number 10003498) with registered office at 10 Riverside Business Park, Stoney Common Road, Stansted Mountfitchet, England, CM24 8PL (“we”, “us”, “our”), for the provision of our services.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a service you have arranged with us, please let us know as soon as possible. To cover our costs, our services are considered fully billable within 48 hours of the arranged call time or start time for your service, or within 48 hours of 00:01 of the date of service if no specific call time has been arranged. Cancellations within 48 hours of a service you have arranged with us may be billed at the full quoted price. Extra costs related to your arranged service including, but not limited to, rentals, travel, accommodation and insurance that have already been paid will billed to you on cancellation.

Timing and Over Hours

We will do our best to estimate how much time is required to carry out our work or service for your particular production, event or request. In general, we will allow extra time for contingency on all projects as part of our estimate. Please check the quoted or agreed timing/hours carefully and let us know as soon as possible if our estimates need adjusting.

If you require our services to extend beyond the arranged times, this will be billed at our standard rate of £149+VAT per hour in increments of 0.5 hours.

Safety & Liability

We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that our staff, throughout your arranged service are suitably skilled, experienced and qualified to carry out the services, use reasonable skill and care in the performance of the services, observe all health and safety rules and regulations and other reasonable security requirements that apply at your site or location. We acknowledge that, to the extent any loss and/or damage is caused to our equipment (in whole or in part) as a direct result of any act of omission of our staff, you will not be responsible for such loss and/or damage. You acknowledge that the relationship of our staff to you will be that of independent contractor and nothing in the contract shall render our staff your employee, worker, agent or partner.
